(formerly H. B. Mellott Estate, Inc. and Mellott
Enterprises, Inc.) announced the appointment of Rich Blake
as President. Blake, 43 years old, is leaving his position
as Senior Vice President, Construction-Americas of Metso
Minerals, effective September 2, 2008. Since selling its
Heritage Division in August 2007 to Lafarge Mid-Atlantic,
has focused on the expansion of the Contract Crushing,
Distribution, Service, Engineering and Fabrication segments
of its business in serving the aggregates, contractor and
steel slag industries.
Paul C. Mellott, Jr., Chairman-CEO stated, "Rich's
experience and expertise in equipment and aggregate
processing operations makes him the perfect fit for our
Company as we develop new and expand existing markets and
services. He knows our team and our customers and has the
respect of the industry. He will greatly enhance our
continuing representation of Metso in our eastern markets."
