local branches of nationwide nonprofit organizations.
Mellott believes in the strength of families and the value
of supporting and inspiring young people to become
productive members of the community. Annual events such as
Learn-To-Read programs, mock interviews for graduating high
school seniors, and college scholarships are just a few of
the ways that Mellott caries and invests in people.
Scholarships
to Graduating Seniors
& CEO, Paul Mellott, awards the H. B. Mellott Estate, Inc.
Charitable Trust scholarship to a graduating senior from the
SFHS. These $2,000 scholarships are awarded to four seniors
each year who plan to further their education in a 2-or 4-
year program.

Forrest
R. Mellott Sports Complex
The Forrest R. Mellott Sports Complex was built with the
Mellott assistance, to provide new track, baseball, and
softball facilities for the Southern Fulton High School
(SFHS).
Learn
to Read Program
co-sponsors
a reading program for the first graders in the Southern
Fulton School District, providing personalized books for
each student to encourage the love of reading.
Senior
Class Tours & Interviews
Each year the
bring the senior class of Southern Fulton High School to our
facilities for a day of tours and interviews. This is a
training opportunity for them to learn more about the
various types of jobs available at the
